Only 200 metres from the house there is a clean, private, sandy beach on Lake Dadaj with a large floating jetty and a slipway allowing to launch our water equipment. Every parent knows how important it is to have a bathing site nearby when on vacation with kids.
LAKE DADAJ
is more than just beachgoing. Its surface area of over 1,000 hectares offers countless possibilities of communing with nature from the water. We rent out pedal boats, kayaks, and boats.
PARADISE FOR ANGLERS
Every angler surely knows how clean and attractive Lake Dadaj is for fishing. Not far away, only 400 metres from the settlement, it’s possible to buy fishing permits.
FOREST WALKS AND BICYCLE TRIPS
The large forest area of the Wipsowo Forest District gives countless possible directions for trips. We offer the possibility of using the bicycles available at our settlement.
MUSHROOM PICKING
A long walk can have some actual results: a basket full of mushrooms. The nearby forests are home to penny buns, birch boletes, bay boletes, and chanterelles. For guests particularly interested in finding some, we’ll have tips on where to look.
ACTIVE LEISURE
We love active leisure, so our offer couldn’t lack equipment allowing you to relax on the move. Believe us – the more tired your body, the more relaxed your mind. Movement + forest and the sounds of water are a perfect combination. Dadaj Settlement offers bicycles, a boat, kayaks, and a pedal boat with a slide. We also have one bicycle seat for a child, and life jackets. However, in our opinion, bicycle helmets are the kind of equipment that’s rather personal, so if you intend to use those please bring your own.
RESTAURANTS
There are 2 restaurants nearby (2–3 km from the house). We recommend them because we ourselves eat there. Also, we know that not having to cook while on vacation is an important part of successful resting.
GROCERY SHOP
At a distance of 3 kilometres, in the village of Czerwonka, there’s a Lewiatan grocery shop where you can buy food products and other articles such as basic toiletries and detergents.
REGIONAL PRODUCTS
We’re extremely pleased that, in addition to providing the beautiful comfortable houses, we’re able to tell our guests where to buy regional products. We’re friends with a certain farmer. You can buy various delicacies such as sausages, cold cuts, bacon, blood sausage, cheese, or eggs. The product range is very wide and will surely satisfy the culinary needs of many gourmets.
